12 Important Things About My Life
*I have been writing fiction since I was 8. This is a major passion of mine and now that I am (mostly) done with my master's thesis, I am dedicating more of my time to honing my craft and seeking publication.
*My family was quite abusive when I was growing up. Some of the scars of that pain reside today, much has been healed by the Lord.
*I desire deeply to learn Hebrew. I drool for the chance and get jealous when I know of others who are in Hebrew classes.
*Tea is really important to me. It warms my soul, surrounds me with friends, is a way to bless and be blessed, and is a major point of connection between myself and my husband.
*I have been a part of several churches over the years in numerous denominations. I love the unity of the Church, but don't agree with all doctrine. Therefore, there are some churches I believe are "more right."
*I read, on average, a book a day.
*I love deep theological, philosophical conversations. I don't love debating, rather open and respectful discussion.
*School has shaped me more than most other experiences. I look forward to more.
*I love being married. Phil is such a helpmeet to me that I cannot possibly begin to describe what it is like.
*God seems to like to really stretch my faith. All the time.
*I adore blankets. I simply cannot have too many. Now I may kick some off in my sleep, but I still love them ;)
*The friends I have now content me deeply. These are the relationships I used to long for.

I'm sorry I didn't get to this blog sooner. Thanks for sharing these things, some I knew some I didn't. I am a blanket fiend as well! I just can't bear to part with any even though I have no more room!
